Here at the Fox & Grapes we have two beautiful adjoining rooms available to hire at no charge and the most caring staff you'll find anywhere. Our superb chef's offer a number of buffet options as well as a set course menu for you to choose from that will delight your taste-buds.

The Snug is available to hire, with a capacity of 35 standing or 24 seated, it is the perfect space for intimate wedding receptions, wakes, birthday celebrations, engagements, leaving parties and retirement dos.

Location: Left hand side by the venue entrance downstairs. As the room is located downstairs, we regrettably can’t provide disabled access.

Availability: The Snug is available to hire 7 days a week: 12pm - 9pm weekdays or 9am till 9pm weekends (last booking time 7pm).

What are my private hire options?

You can hire our entire ground floor, family-friendly restaurant with a standing capacity of 268 and a seated capacity of 180. For a smaller event, you can hire our cosy semi-private downstairs area The Snug with a standing capacity of 35 and a seated capacity of 24.

Do you have Disabled Access/Facilities?

Our main restaurant area has disabled access to the rear and disabled toilet access. Unfortunately, our downstairs Snug area does not have disabled access.

Are pets allowed in the private hire area?

We are a dog friendly pub, however, please enquire when booking about bringing your furry friend into the private-hire space.

Will food and drink be available?

Our private hire venue is available for all food and drink booking types.

Can the seating be rearranged?

Yes. Our seating is fully moveable. Please contact the venue to discuss your seating requirements.

Is The Snug fully private?

The Snug is a semi private space so it may have some shared facilities with the rest of the venue
